Sesame Chicken

  • 1 broiler-fryer chicken (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup corn oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. Regina® White Cooking Wine
  • 1 garlic clove (peeled and halved)
  • 1 medium yellow onion (chopped)
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. Accent® Flavor Enhancer
  • 1 tsp. red chili
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger


In blender, place corn oil, soy sauce, wine, garlic, onion, brown sugar, Accent® Flavor Enhancer, chili and ginger; blend until liquefied, about 1 minute. Pour marinade into bowl; add chicken and marinate, mixing occasionally, at least 30 minutes. Place chicken in single layer, skin side up, in large shallow baking pan. Bake uncovered, in 350°F oven, basting occasionally, about 1 hour or until fork can be inserted with ease. Makes 4 servings. Serving suggestion: Serve with white rice and steamed broccoli.
